Ant's Devlog #4 Unity Update
During this week we worked on the rearrangement of the flowchart in Unity, along with setting up our mini-games. We were finally able to get the backgrounds working for the project, so now we are working towards adding a background to every scene. Along with this we are also working towards resizing the character models to better make use of the space provided. We conducted our play-test in a classroom setting by five different people. Everyone received a brief overview of what the game was about, and what was going on during the current build. Both players played at least one play-through of the analog prototype, and all notes were recorded digitally along with observing the players reactions. Based on what we observed our results and data concluded as: players wanted to know if we could slow down the text in order to allow smoother reading, players wanted to know if there was a backwards option that allowed them to read a previous text block, and players asked about a save and load feature so they did not have to start all over again. Some of the future plans and milestones for the up coming days include: polishing the main menu screen, rearranging flowchart to better fit the suspects and mini-games, adding sounds, coloring the backgrounds, polishing the website, and implementing a pause feature.
